We are looking for a Electrical Project Chief in Renewable Energy Investments department of Çalık Enerji Headquarters located in Istanbul;

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree from Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering faculties of universities
• Minimum 7 years of experience in power plant projects, preferably wind power plant projects and solar power plant projects, in pre-license / license procedures, construction permits, pre-construction processes and construction phases and acceptance processes
• HV/MV Switchyard design and construction experience in AIS or GIS
• Experienced in industrial or power plant projects electrical site works (both in site execution, procurement, subcontractor & supplier management)
• Knowledge of energy projects (Wind or Solar or other), especially HV/MV Equipment and Switchyards, HV-MV Over headline, E-BOP works, earthing, commissioning and SCADA Works Preferably able to use MS Project, AUTOCAD or related 3D simulation program
• Preferably able to use MS Project, AUTOCAD or related 3D simulation program
• To have deep knowledge of MS Office
• A real team-player, analytical thinking and practical & solution-oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic
• Project management accredited certificate owner who has knowledge of project management processes or project management & understanding of contracts, construction law and permitting requirements
• Will be able to reside in Istanbul and no restriction to travel / stay abroad to our project sites when necessary
• Completed their military service for male candidates
• Eager to work in a busy and fast-paced business environment
• Owner of Class B license and can actively drive candidates are being looked for.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To support the Project Manager in all project management processes, especially in scope of time, risk and stakeholder management in WPP & SPP projects that are newly developed or under evaluation, especially at home and abroad
• Execution of technical studies of newly developed Wind Power Plants Projects & Solar Power Plants Projects
• Implementation of contracts, preparation and control of work plans
• Being able to request offers from sub-suppliers, preparation of comparison tables (technical & commercial), and evaluation of suppliers
• To follow up preliminary and final electrical design and approval stages of WPP and SPP
• Control, Correction, and Review of electrical engineering projects, calculations documents, and activities ensuring that the Plant is technically compliant with the technical standards,grid connection agreement, grid code,and other electrical projects and site physical conditions
• Evaluate of Grid System reports (power flow,connection points &areas)
• Electrical equipment selection for LV/MV/HV systems and control by determining the connection and operation principles of power plants,
• Evaluate and prepare bill of quantity for OHL projects
• Monitoring of application projects, specifications,E-BoQ and RFQ documents to be prepared by the engineering firm in terms of contract, standards, applicability and optimization and revision
• Knowledge of turbine models, solar modules, energy transmission line and permits, zoning and expropriation permits, turbine costs,CAPEX and O&M costs
• Optimizes the CAPEX budgets of the projects to reflect the latest cost changes in the market
• Preparing reports and correspondence related to internal and external, private and public institutions
